Jeff Paul's Internet Millions Scam - How I Would Have Made it Better

We all know by now that Jeff Paul's Shortcuts to Internet Millions is a scam.

It could have been a successful system that should have worked for thousands of people if Jeff Paul had used his skills and left out the over hyped and misleading income claims but I guess he was thinking that people ARE stupid enough to think you could make $430,000.00 in one week without any previous experience.

Jeff Paul, of course, knows a lot about pressing people's hot buttons and knows how the internet works when it comes to making money online. Its a pity though he has to use such underhand techniques and put out such a disappointing product and laughable infomerical.

Now if I was Jeff Paul here's how I would have set it up from the beginning so that I won't have such a nasty backlash.
  1. Test the product with real users and use them for the testimonials instead of friends and paid actors. On the first Jeff Paul infomercial one of his testimonials was his friend Shawn Casey who doesn't need another system because he already makes that kind of money. Saying he made $430,000.00 while on a cruise using the Jeff Paul Shortcuts to Internet Millions system is just misleading.

Real testimonials from real people who had used the system would have been more believable.

  2. Get rid of the lies and hype-fest - sure it sells and might generate buzz and interest but what about going for the long haul? It usually pays to be honest.

Claiming that you can make $10,000 in your first week might sound appealing to some but it really does nothing but generate skepticism. Making money with no experience is possible but it takes some learning to start making money. Sure he bills it as a 'shortcut' but I have yet to see a real testimonial on the internet from one regular person who has bought and profited from this system.

  3. Collect names and email addresses - As a direct marketer, Jeff Paul should know better - the money is in the list. He should have had people on the sales site with a privacy policy that they won't sell, rent or trade the email addresses while giving them the ability to opt out. Then he could always send legitimate emails to his subscribers with money making tips and reminders to buy his program.

  4. Respect people's right to privacy and give them the ability to opt out of the unwanted telephone calls. I know this is how they try to sell on the back end - the coaching program that sells for $1000s of dollars - but if someone says they don't want to hear about it then what sense does it make getting on their wrong side?

  5. Replace the Big League Players Club with an actual membership site like Wealthy Affiliate that persons who bought the Jeff Paul system can have access to for a reasonable monthly fee. 'Cuz really, the people who are being targeted for the Jeff Paul system cannot afford a program like this.
I have no doubt that Jeff Paul's Shortcuts works for Jeff Paul but the consensus on this one is that it doesn't work for the people. These are just 5 things I would have done from the start to make it better.

NicheQ Review - Have Kyle and Carson Gone Crazy?

Yesterday, Wealthy Affiliate members welcomed the newest enhancement to the site - the long awaited Niche Q system.

The system which aims at turning affiliates into master niche experts is growing evidence that Kyle and Carson actually care a lot about Wealthy Affiliate members. Spending hundreds of thousands on a system like Niche Q and then offering it for free could almost suggest that these guys have lost their minds.

Now they had originally planned on offering it at a monthly fee of $197 and truth be told, I would have paid for it because it is absolutely worth it. The thing is that newer members who actually need this system the most would have been at a disadvantage and I would not have wanted to see that. Kyle and Carson I believe also want to see new members succeed.

How the Niche Q System Works

When I logged in, I immediately had access to the Niche Q system from the dashboard saying that I had one Niche Q report waiting.

The way it works is that you have 6 industries to choose from. When you choose an industry to work with, you get access to the detailed Niche Q report, the downloads and automatic access to the private discussion forum for this industry. All the other NicheQs are made inaccessible and their corresponding forums restricted. In about a month from when you choose your first NicheQ, the others are made accessible so that you can make another choice.

In another 6 months, another 6 NicheQ reports will be released so at the end of the year members would have access to 12 Niche reports.

I like the way its all set up. Well thought out and the restrictions encourage affiliates to focus.

What You Get

When I accessed the niche I wanted to work with I got:

The NicheQ report for that niche - Its a very detailed analysis of the industry, well researched with stats and insight gathered from various sources. The report also had suggestions for further research and affiliate programs

5 Professional Looking Website Templates you could edit. These looked great and can be used with the 25 PLR Article Pack.

Also included are SEO Keywords - these are perfect for bum marketing since they are all low competition keywords, PLR guides that can be used as bonuses, prewritten emails and keyword lists that you can also use for PPC or to aid in further niche research.

My Evaluation

Personally, I think this is one of the best additions to Wealthy Affiliate in a while. Over the past year they've added Rapid Writer, the Accreditation Courses, the ShareZone and WA Gold and while all great additions, none of them have held as much value as Niche Q.

What I liked most about the Niche Q system though is that all the industries are very competitive. Competition means that a lot of money are being made in those niches but also means that its hard for new affiliates to break into...unless they know how.

Niche Q provides that know-how and that means that affiliates can get into competitive niches by finding audiences that are in some cases untouched. These audiences are uncovered in NicheQ and Kyle and Carson also provides references to resources where you can do further niche research. This system is great if you cant find a niche to promote and even better if you're already working in any of the niches.

I hardly believe there is another system available elsewhere on the internet like this at such an affordable price. This system is going to make Wealthy Affiliate members a lot of money in 2009 and I hardly believe that Kyle and Carson can top this one.

If you want to save time doing niche research and concentrate on making more money in 2009 then Niche Q is for you. Luckily, NicheQ isn't a standalone system because its part of Wealthy Affiliate - two incredible memberships that I'm proud to be a part of and you would be too.

Save time, Make Money with Niche Q in 2009.

Get Google Ads Free - Is it Possible?

It seems like every week a newbie marketer asks about "Get Google Ads Free" on the Wealthy Affiliate forum.

This doesn't surprise me at all because "Get Google Ads Free" is the type of misleading crap that seems too good to be true. And it is!

There is no such thing as getting free advertising from Google. There are ways to get free advertising credit applied when you start an adwords account but thats as free as it gets. You still have to pay for the service.

There are also ways to reduce your adspend but free Google ads? No such thing.

How it works in a nutshell

Before it was released in the middle of last year, I had actually known about the model used in "Get Google Ads Free".

Free is far from what it is. Initially, you will need to spend a whole lot of money...more than likely a whole lot more than you actually have if you're just starting out online. The reason for this is so that you can gather stats to persuade advertisers to pay for space on your landing page.

The next step is to use the money from the advertisers to buy PPC advertising so you're not technically using your own money. Does this make it free?

In addition to leaking away your traffic, you're building someone elses business and brand awareness so I don't really see the point although I guess it can be done effectively.

However, the point here is that advertising a product that promises to get your totally free ppc advertising, to me, is just another guru scam. I'm letting you know so that you don't have that "Uh oh, I got suckered again" feeling when your curiosity gets the better of you and you decide to let go of $67 that could be better spent.

My Suggestion

The best thing I can advise you to do if you want to succeed is to learn PPC from people like Kyle and Carson, the authors of Beating Adwords.

This month, a Wealthy Affiliate PPC Accreditation course was launched.

The course is tasked based and will walk you through PPC step by step from scratch to an advanced level. Once completed, you should be an expert in the field and will drastically reduce the risks that are usually associated with PPC marketing.

The only way for you to take advantage of this offer is for you to join Wealthy Affiliate since its only available to members.

The courses will be available as a bundle at a discount price for the next two weeks so take advantage of this offer before its gone.

Learn more about the accreditation courses here.
